The many facets of leadership

On Monday we had our second presbyteral council of the year and Fr Martin McCormack SDB surprised us giving us a copy of his new book: "The many facets of leadership"

Fr Martin lives in Malkerns (Swaziland) and has been running leadership training for teachers and young people for 36 years. He has presented workshops in Ireland, Denmark, West Africa and Southern Africa.

With his permission I share with you the foreword of the book.

This book by Martin McCormack is a 'must-read' for all people interested in an aspect of 'Leadership'. It contains a wealth of knowledge - both at an experiential and theoretical level.

The author uses a combination of his own experience as a leader on two continents: Europe and Africa. This book is about the many facets of leadership in different situations.

Martin McCormack's own leadership from working in different areas of life, coupled with his theoretical knowledge provides the reader with a down-to-earth detailed account of the many facets of leadership.
