Ready to launch "The Rocking Horse Project" at Hope House

Next Monday it will be the official launch of "The Rocking Horse Project" at Hope House. As I would not be in Swaziland I was given a chance to visit it yesterday morning.

The Rocking Horse Project is an association not for profit with the aim to provide paediatric palliative care to improve the quality of life of children when a curative treatment is no longer an option.
They use a holistic approach to manage the physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of children and their families.

Thanks to this partnership from now on Hope House will be caring also for children and not only for adults. Their names will be written on the sunflowers and will always be remembered.

As Mrs Denise Mortlock shared with me at the end: "In any project one hopes to have many people but in this case we hope one day, these houses will be empty...". Yes! It will be sign that there will be no more need to care for terminally sick children. We pray for that!
