Many people would probably say they believe in God but, would they be more specific? Quite a number would probably tell us about a supreme being somewhere in the universe.
This Sunday's feast of the Holy Trinity is our own answer. Jesus says three things:
- God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son
- So that we may have eternal life, his own life
- Because he does not want us to perish but that we are saved, that we live!
