Commemorating "Refugee Day" with the members of the "Swaziland Council of Catholic Women" (SCCW) we first started with the celebration of the Mass and then had a second moment with songs and speeches.
The one who remained in our minds and hearts was a little refugee girl who said a few words in English. She had learnt them by heart . After saying them she came to greet me and give me the text.
This is what she said:
Thank you God
Thank you for this time,
I show you to everyone
in order to be one.
Thank you for Swaziland
which received me
and protects me.
Bless it every time
protect it every from crime
bless our Bishop
and every one here.
