Having elected (last August) Archbishop Brislin as president of the Southern African Catholic Bishops' Conference, with Bishop Sipuka as first vice-president and Bishop Valentine Seane as second vice-president, today bishops were elected to the rest of the departments and offices of our Conference.
Led by the president and vice-presidents who could not be elected to any other service, the two "youngest" bishops according to their episcopal ordination (Bishops Zungu and Phalana) were called to help counting the votes.
