"The Apostolic Nunciature in Southern Africa hast the honour to inform His Eminence the Cardinal, the Archbishops, Bishops, Apostolic Administrator, the Secretary General of the SACBC, the Clergy, the Religious and the Lay People that, today 29th November 2013, the Holy Father Pope Francis:
- appointed His Excellency Monsignor José Luis Gerardo Ponce de León IMC, as Residential Bishop of the Diocese of Manzini (Swaziland). Until now he has been Apostolic Vicar of the Apostolic Vicariate of Ingwavuma (South Africa);
- appointed the same Bishop José Luis Gerardo Ponce de León IMC as Apostolic Administrator "sede vacante et ad nutum Sanctae Sedis" of the Apostolic Vicariate of Ingwavuma (South Africa).
This announcement is made public today November 29th, 2013 at noon Rome time.
