Last week I was able to quickly visit the St Lucia Retreat and Training Centre.
Gardening had started but had to be stopped because of the water restrictions (no rain in the area)
The Stations of the Cross has arrived. It is a donation from one of the outstations of Mtubatuba Parish who gladly accepted to transfer it to the new centre and get a new one for them.
Images are being oiled and soon they will be placed on the sides of the church
These stations were carved by Bernard Gcwensa and Ruben Xulu (artists in Hlabisa area)

I was then asked to wait for a few minutes when the lights of the bell would go on.
A real treat I must say. It looks beautiful!
